What we collect

If you sign up for campaign updates, we store the name and email address you enter, the exact consent wording you agreed to, the version of that wording, and the date and time your consent was recorded. If you email the campaign, we simply have your message — writing to us never adds you to the updates list.

Your consent

The consent box is never pre-checked. The wording is: “I agree to receive campaign updates from Ambroise Agosse for Takoma Park.” After you sign up we email you a single-use confirmation link, and you are only added to the list once you click it.

How we use it

Only to send occasional updates about Ambroise's campaign for Ward 6, and to keep the campaign informed about who has joined the list. Authorized campaign staff can view the list and receive a regular spreadsheet of subscribers — name, email, signup time, status, and consent record — sent to the campaign's own email address.

We do not sell or rent your details, and there are no advertising trackers on this site. Like any website, we rely on service providers that handle the data on our behalf: the company that hosts this site and its database, and the email service that delivers our messages. They may only process your details for us.

Leaving the list

Every update includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately without signing in. Once you unsubscribe, your address is excluded from all further messages and counts. You can also write to agosseaforcitycouncil@gmail.com and ask to be removed.
